Saudi Arabia summits end on high note of cooperation

Nayef Falah M. Al-Hajraf, secretary-general of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, said there were many topics that were asked related to China and the Gulf Cooperation Council, or GCC. Some of these included the Gulf countries' integrity and development.
He said the first China-GCC summit reflected China as a leading trade partner with $280 million in trade value and that they wanted to advance this border cooperation reflecting in the 2023 to 2027 joint action plan.
The leaders also noted that there are 15 areas of cooperation between the GCC and China and Prince Faisal said that there is a "desire" to complete a free trade agreement with China.
