Art fair set to draw the crowds

More than 130 galleries and art institutions from some 32 cities across the country and around the world have brought works to this year's Beijing Dangdai Art Fair, at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Since its launch in 2018, the Beijing Dangdai Art Fair, in May, has become an integral part of the capital city's cultural landscape attracting both art professionals and members of the public who seldom go to galleries.

This is in large part due to its convenient location: the venue, at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center, is close to the city center and the bustling Sanlitun and CBD areas.
