Iran values its ties with Pakistan, President Pezeshkian stated during a meeting with Pakistan’s Interior Minister.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the significance Iran places on its ties with Pakistan during a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Tehran.
He expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s support during the war, stating that Iran would never forget the solidarity shown by its neighbor.
President Pezeshkian warned that the Zionist regime aims to sow discord among Muslim nations and stressed that unity and cooperation among Islamic countries is essential.
He voiced satisfaction with the current state of Iran-Pakistan relations and underlined the value of diplomatic engagement and dialogue to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
The Iranian President noted that both countries hold vast potential for expanding collaboration in various fields.
In response, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulated President Pezeshkian on Iran’s victory in the war and reaffirmed Pakistan’s consistent condemnation of the attack on Iran.
Naqvi highlighted that Pakistan’s Parliament was the first to pass a resolution denouncing the aggression against Iran and expressed full support for Iran’s legitimate right to self-defense.
