The Shandong Museum opened its new detective experience exhibition on July 12, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in the fascinating world of detective work.
The exhibition centers around the legendary fictional detective Sherlock Holmes, created by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Holmes is famous for his extraordinary powers of observation, logical reasoning, and mastery of deduction, solving complex cases that have captivated readers worldwide for over a century.
At the exhibition, visitors can take on the role of a detective, using professional investigative tools to examine clues, analyze evidence, and solve puzzles within carefully recreated crime scenes.
This hands-on, immersive experience combines classic storytelling with modern interactive technology, allowing guests to experience the excitement of cracking difficult cases.
Liu Yanchang, director of the Shandong Museum, said that the exhibition aims to blend culture and history with innovative technology, providing an engaging way for the public to connect with global literary icons and the art of investigation.
To accommodate increased visitor interest during summer, the museum has extended its opening hours from July 8 to Sept 7, operating Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (last entry at 6:00 pm), and remains closed on Mondays.
