中國正在努力實現(xiàn)中華民族偉大復(fù)興的中國夢，比以往任何時候都更需要一個和平穩(wěn)定的外部環(huán)境。中國將堅定不移走和平發(fā)展道路。

China is striving for its dream of realizing great national rejuvenation, which requires a peaceful and stable international environment more than ever. Thus, China will stick to its peaceful development.

相互尊重，聚同化異。

China and the United States should respect each other and accumulate shared interests to defuse differences.

雙方應(yīng)該堅持從大處著眼，把握構(gòu)建新型大國關(guān)系總目標。

Both sides should keep the big picture in sight and grasp the general goal of boosting the new model of major-country relationship.

雙方應(yīng)認清兩國共同利益遠遠大于分歧；應(yīng)該相互尊重、平等相待，尊重彼此主權(quán)和領(lǐng)土完整，尊重彼此對發(fā)展道路的選擇。

The two countries should keep in mind that their common interests far overweight differences, respect is needed in terms of each others' sovereignty, territorial integrity, and chosen model of development.

雙方應(yīng)堅持通過對話協(xié)商、以建設(shè)性方式增進理解、擴大共識。

The two countries should stick to dialogue, consultation and other constructive ways to expand understanding and consensus.

我們應(yīng)該加快雙邊投資協(xié)定談判，應(yīng)該深化兩軍對話，共同打擊一切形式的恐怖主義，共同應(yīng)對氣候變化這一全球性挑戰(zhàn)；應(yīng)該加強在重大國際和地區(qū)問題上的溝通和協(xié)調(diào)。

The two countries should accelerate negotiations on the Bilateral Investment Treaty, strengthen military dialogue, combat all forms of terrorism, work together in dealing with climate change and promote communication and coordination on major international and regional issues.

我們要鼓勵和擴大兩國人民友好往來，拓寬兩國社會各界交流渠道，不斷夯實中美友好的社會和民眾基礎(chǔ)。

Both sides should encourage friendly exchanges between their peoples, and broaden social communication channels to consolidate public opinion in favor of bilateral friendship.

中美友好的根基在民眾，希望在青年。

The foundation of Sino-U.S. friendship lies in the people, and our hope in youth.
