To keep a piggy bank is to put aside money regularly for a rainy day.
It means final victory after some initial setback, defeat or criticism.
It means someone or something is getting old and, perhaps, obsolete.
It means don't expect anyone to make special allowances for you.
If it's something or someone whose time has come, they're destined to win.
Like a flock of sheep, thinking by sticking together they will be safe.
