Just like other regional expositions, the China-Northeast Asia Expo has strategic meaning on the national level, Zhang Yunling, researcher from the Chinese Academy of Science, said during an interview.

The expo serves as a driving force to promote the prosperity and development of Northeast China. To achieve that goal, Zhang said that the priority is to highlight the features of the region.
